Questions &
Answers
Q. Why should I use the
Easy Property Sketch word document ?
A. The document is set up for for
first time users to know what symbols to use and for what information to provide. If you
are unable to print this document clearly then plain blue squared graph paper
availabe at most stationers is sufficient to use.
Q. Why does the paper have a
blue grid ?
A. The blue grid with help you with
scale when sketching the property. One small square on the grid paper should represent 6
inches. One large square should represent 5 feet. Therefore it is not necessary to write
all the dimensions as long as you draw the property to scale we will be able to calculate
lengths from these squares.
Q. How do I sketch a wall,
door, window, bath etc ?
A. A sample of most of the symbols
needed is shown on the bottom of the Easy Property Sketch word document. Please also view
or print the sample sketches shown above to see how easily the symbols can be used to draw
a property.
Q. What if the symbol for
an object is not on the Easy Property Sketch word document ?
A. The Word document shows the most
common symbols that are used. If the symbol does not appear just sketch your own simple
symbol and label it clearly.
Q. What if the property is
too large to fit on one sheet ?
A. It is no problem to draw a
property on a number of sheets as long as they are clearly marked as to which area fits
into the other.
Q. Can you guarantee a 100%
accurate floor plan ?

plans we draw are designed
to indicate the properties general layout and approximate size in order for the potential
buyer to see the layout on the internet or on a brochure without having to physically
visit the site. All our floor plans will have the following disclaimer on them.
